Run95

This tool is an export from Textview: a copy of the Windows 95 Run Dialog Box. The implementation as a standalone executable file has a great advantage over the original: you can create a link to it, then define a hotkey for the link, and the Run Dialog Box is ready on the spot!

This utility for Windows NT/2k/XP can be used to modify time stamps of files and directories. You can either run ntouch from the command line and specify the files to be modified as separate arguments (with wildcards), or you can add files and directories using drag & drop from Explorer. Holding Shift adds all the files from a dropped directory, and pressing Ctrl adds the directory as well as all of its content. Hit Del to remove the selected files and directories from the list.

dtouch

dtouch is the companion of ntouch to add or remove a specified time span to or from time stamps of files and directories. This could be useful i.e. to correct the time stamps of images created with a digital camera with a slow clock or in another time zone.

Regdel

Regdel is a command line tool to remove keys or values from the Windows registry. Regdel can be called from batch files, this can be useful for continuous registry clean-up or for system administrators to quickly take care of recurrent tasks. Or you could even write simple software uninstalling batches, which are able to remove applications and their registry entries. For a description of the correct command line format, please refer to the text file shipped with Regdel.

Silv is a simple tool to display the internal Icon List of the Windows 95 shell. The Icon List contains every program and document icon that has once appeared in Windows and is stored in the file "ShellIconCache" in the Windows directory. Silv doesn’t work on Windows NT (see readme files included in the Silv zip-file for details).

Opens your personal "Send to" folder. Links created in this folder appear in Explorer’s "Send to..." menu.

Userinfo

Very simple tool to display Windows version information, the Username and the Computername of your system. Can be helpful i.e. to obtain basic system information for a network setup on several machines.

Timer

Timer is a secret stopwatch utility for Windows 9x/NT. The program is invisible to the user and can only be seen with a process-viewer tool like i.e. NT Task Manager. Run Timer.exe to start the stopwatch and then again to stop it. Time information is stored in the file Timer.log, created in the same directory as Timer.exe.
